Less chaos.
More learning.
Real impact.

Does this sound familiar?
I'm Christina Desormeaux, Senior Learning Consultant
I spent over 20 years designing learning across some pretty different worlds. Government. International development. Healthcare. Defence. Nonprofits. I truly loved this work!
But here's what I kept seeing, no matter where I worked. Scattered learning resources with no strategy connecting them. Well-designed courses created but never launched. Expensive online training subscriptions with low enrolments and impact. Costly learning platforms implemented but not used effectively.
And almost nobody asking the question that mattered most: how does this connect to the organizations strategic plan? When I asked this question, I rarely got an answer. A learning strategy? It usually didn't exist. So I decided to focus on exactly that.
I now work with Canadian nonprofits and charities to help their teams figure out their training and learning needs and align them with their organizations strategic plans. Whether it's for a program team, Learning and Development, or an HR lead responsible for staff training, I help them make decisions about what to keep, what needs updating and if something new is needed, I help them make quality choices that will have impact. I KNOW what quality that looks like!
Why nonprofits and charities? It's where my heart is. These organizations are doing the hardest work in our communities and they deserve the same quality of strategic thinking as any well-funded corporation. That matters to me.
When I'm not doing that, you'll find me outside. Hiking, climbing mountains, walking dogs (sometimes ones that aren't even mine), and reminding myself that the best ideas rarely happen at a desk.

Let's talk
Not sure if we're a good fit? That's exactly what a discovery call is for. We'll spend 30 minutes getting to know each other, talking through where you are and what you need. No pitch. No pressure. Just an honest conversation to see if working together makes sense.
