Building a foundation for a learning ecosystem

decorative

Organization: Nutrition International

Sector: International nonprofit / Global development

The situation: Nutrition International was growing. They had staff and external clients who needed training, a pool of Technical Assistance providers scattered across the globe, and no central system to manage any of it. Everything was informal, disconnected, and increasingly hard to sustain. They had never had a learning management system before and weren't sure where to start.

What I did: I conducted a needs analysis to understand what the organization required before anyone purchased a platform or any courses. Based on their requirements, we selected a platform. I assisted with the set up and adoption of their first ever learning management system (LMS) to support external clients. I also established an online portal for Technical Assistance providers, creating a central hub for their onboarding, resources, and training. I trained administrators, content developers, and instructors on how to use the new system so it wouldn't gather dust after launch.

The result: Nutrition International went from having no learning infrastructure to having a critical key player in their learning ecosystem. Staff and external clients had a central place to learn. Technical Assistance providers had a consistent onboarding experience.
